ABOUT ME
My name is Jennifer Vanderheyden(mouthful, I know) and I'm from a small town in Pennsylvania 20 minutes outside of Harrisburg. I'm an Art History major in my second year at Roger Williams University and consider myself a jack-of-all-trades kinda gal. I'm a fair artist, enjoy learning about the environment and space and read like I need it to breathe. I'm also an avid hiker(ask me about the Appalachian) and have an unhealthy obsession with trees.
Academically, I have to work a bit harder than most because of my ADHD, but I've learned to accept the fact thatI just tend to learn a bit differntly than most. This does mean that I tend to be a bit on the forgetful side however, and it shows. Personally I prefer spaces and classes where I'm allowed to work on my own and at my own pace with as much creative freedom as humanly possible.
Multimodal Writing in Public Spheres is a required class, but I would enjoy it I think even if it wasn't required. I'm a fairly good writer and it's something I enjoy. I look forward to exploring different means of communication within my community, and consider this a great way to expand my writing abilities.
