Music and sound shine a light into the depth of a story and help add to the emotional content of a piece and add effect to help the reader see more into the emotion and meaning of the story you're telling. I also feel as though it kind of connects how sound and music help a story to "flow". The deep sea has a lot of hills and valleys and cracks and crevices, but because of the addition of water, you only see the waves on the surface. These ideas help us as storytellers to be more effective in the way we impact the people hearing our story.
