The main purpose of this article is to explain multimodal text and describe the process in which the author went through in order to complete their own multimodal form of writing. It is organized on this website as an article but also an interactive and segmented piece of writing which I think helps the reader digest the information more efficiently and emphasizes the point they are trying to make within the text.

What I found most intriguing about both the writing and the audio clips was the expressed frustration the author had with creating multimodal text. They repeatedly brought up the complications that come with technology in "A Technological Journey", and their frustration with trying to creatively express an idea through technology and have it not go quite as planned. I think everyone in class can relate to this particular form of frustration, but really anyone who is involved in any sort of creative work can relate. Oftentimes when we try to bring something from our minds into the physical world, it doesn't always look or sound or appear the way we imagined it. And that's all apart of the creative process. Especially now, with technology and all of the creative programs we have like Photoshop, it's easy to think about what you'd like to achieve, but the limitations of the program and even your own abilities can impede you from expressing your ideas.
